For several months, our R&D team has been working closely with the FabLab of the CHU of Liège as well as with neurologists from the CHU, as part of an ambitious project: to explore new approaches to cognitive rehabilitation using innovative digital tools.
At the heart of this initiative is the use of Minecraft Education as a therapeutic environment. This platform, widely recognized for its educational potential, also provides an immersive setting conducive to the implementation of personalized, playful, and stimulating rehabilitation scenarios.
The objective of the project is to recreate, in a secure and interactive environment, everyday situations that allow patients who are victims of accidents or brain injuries to gradually relearn certain automatic behaviors. This work is part of a broader reflection on the use of immersive technologies in health and their ability to generate active engagement from patients.
We are currently entering a testing phase, during which the first experiments will be evaluated under real conditions. The prospects are promising, both therapeutically and scientifically.
We will be sure to share the progress of the project in the coming weeks and, ultimately, to highlight the passionate professionals who are driving this initiative.
